Overview
Responsibilities
Work experience or training, which includes the exchange of money for purchases and making change. Proven prior successful customer service experience. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, Systematic problem solving skills,ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications
- Greets customers and assists in locating prescriptions for sale.
Receives monies or processes credit cards or other payments in the pharmacy. Is accurate in totalling purchases, collecting the correct amount and making accurate change.
Facilitates end of day reports and ensures that appropriate monies are in the tills for the start of the next day's business. Is accurate in reporting receipts.
- May be assigned to routine tasks not involving the handling of medications
May answer the telephone and provide the public with general information and directions.
- Provides excellent customer service to customers.
- Routinely telephones customers to remind them to pick up.
- Assists in daily inventory activities as assigned.
