Job Description

Social Media & Partnerships Manager | JOB DESCRIPTION

Who we are

LodgeWorks is a privately held hotel development and management company. While our name isn't on the hotels themselves, our extraordinary culture is at the heart of our hotels — including our award-winning Archer Hotel boutique collection and our portfolio of other great brands with familiar names, such as Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Aloft and Hampton Inn.

We're thrilled to be considered industry innovators with a rich 40+ year history. We have developed and maintained while growing to over 1,000 employees nationwide. At LodgeWorks, hospitality is more than just the industry in which we work; it defines everything we do. Maybe it's because we're grounded in Midwestern hospitality (our home office is in Wichita, Kansas, while our hotels are scattered across the U.S.). Or maybe it's because we actively work to make hospitality (with each other, our guests, our clients and partners) the foundation upon which everything is built.

Job overview

The Social Media & Partnerships Manager helps to bring LodgeWorks' brands to life across social channels — turning existing and new photography, video and creative assets into scroll-stopping, on-brand content. This role owns the full posting lifecycle for Archer Hotel and LodgeWorks' other brands: writing copy, designing, scheduling and publishing, community engagement, and measuring what's working. Just as important, this person manages the relationships that fuel great content and reach — sourcing, vetting and partnering with influencers and content creators, and building relationships with local partners such as convention + visitors bureaus and neighborhood groups to extend the reach of LodgeWorks content and offers.

This is a role for someone with a strong creative eye, sharp writing skills, and a talent for building partnerships. They are metrics-driven, organized and thorough, with strong communication and negotiation skills, and an innate curiosity and passion for storytelling through social media.

Your day-to-day

Content, Writing, Posting

• Write, design and schedule organic social content for Archer Hotel and LodgeWorks' other brands, many times drawing on existing photography, video and creative assets.

• Adapt and repurpose creative assets into platform-native posts across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms as we scale.

• Own and maintain the social content calendar in partnership with the marketing and creative teams.

• Guide and coordinate paid social media campaigns, including developing supporting creative assets, in partnership with our paid social resource.

• Monitor social channels and ensure timely, on-brand engagement and responses.

• Respond to reviews and comments on Google Business Profile and social platforms.

Influencer, Content Creator Partnerships

• Proactively source, vet and build relationships with influencers and content creators aligned with brand and property goals.

• Manage day-to-day communication, briefs and deliverables for influencer and creator partnerships, in coordination with marketing and legal as needed.

• Coordinate influencer and creator visits and content shoots at properties.

• Track and evaluate partner performance to inform future partnership decisions.

Local Community Partnerships

• Build and maintain relationships with local partners such as CVBs, neighborhood groups and other community organizations.

• Coordinate co-marketing opportunities to share content, offers and promotions through partner channels.

• Represent LodgeWorks brands within local partner and community networks online.

Measurement & Reporting

• Work with the team to set measurable goals; analyze campaigns and report on social media performance, including paid social results.

• Use social media analytics and KPI reporting to inform content and partnership strategy.

• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or a related field required.

• 2+ years of experience in social media marketing; experience managing influencer or creator partnerships preferred.

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and brands.

• Knowledge of and experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.

• Experience with social media management and project management tools (Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Wrike, Google Analytics, etc.).

• Comfortable sourcing, negotiating and managing relationships with influencers, content creators and local partners such as CVBs and tourism boards.

• An eye for curating and repurposing existing creative into cohesive, on-brand visual and written storytelling.

• Experience with or working knowledge of paid social media campaigns (Meta Ads Manager, boosted posts, etc.) preferred.

• Basic photo and video editing skills (mobile-first content) a plus.

• Knowledge of social media analytics and KPI reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.

• Capable of exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

• Fluent in English.

• Able to drive, with a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
