Key Responsibilities:

· Understanding of Mechanical/Energetic assemblies as assigned

· Manual Machine Operations where applicable

· Inspect parts from assigned product line to align with quality assurance management

· Attend all meetings as invited or requested by leadership

· Medium frequency of heavy lifting

· High frequency of gripping and high use of manual dexterity

· Ability to manage multiple on-going tasks without jeopardizing team member relations

· Employ basic problem-solving skills routinely and escalate all issues appropriately

· Read and interpret technical data tolerances and quality requirements

· Perform visual inspection of components

· Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by Valor

· Must gain operator certification

· Exhibit professionalism at all times

· Understand and lead by example to comply with Valor's Attendance Policy

· Demonstrate proficient use of Microsoft Office products daily

· Manage area performance and provide employee progress reports to supervisor

· Schedule and assign personnel to meet established production goals and priorities

· Operate in a regulated and controlled environment as it pertains to contract requirements and specifications

· Maintain expected productivity when working independently or in a team dynamic

· Ensure production team is actively engaged and developing to meet daily demands and production schedules safely

· Provide effective training to the production team and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained at all times

· Communicate with Supervisors and other Leads to prioritize staffing assignments and ensure agreed upon production schedule is met

· Execute team member training and job shadowing to ensure that procedures are followed and quality requirements are met

· Contribute to team efforts regarding safety, quality and production goals

· Provide documentation, input, and feedback regarding training endeavors

· Use and explain Valor Spec System

· Participate in production meetings, produce any needed reports, data entry, and complete any tasks assigned

· Maintain ability to perform all area processes

· Maintain accountability of area inventory and assist with monthly inventory counts

· Order, schedule, and monitor raw material and WIP

· Communicate needs and requirements to other departments to meet production goals

· Learn and retain knowledge of required military standards and specifications as applied to assigned product lines

· Coordinate on going daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly testing/maintenance of equipment in assigned area or product line

Hiring Range: $24.31 - $27.35 per hour; the role is full-time, strictly onsite, and non-exempt. All overtime is subject to prior approval. The wage offered will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.

Application Process: We invite you to apply for the Senior Production Line Lead position. *Ideal internal candidate(s) have been identified for promotion related to this posting and will receive priority consideration regarding selection.

Regular Schedule: A set shift Monday through Thursday; overtime and shift changes are subject to prior approval. All employees are required to take two paid fifteen-minute rest breaks daily during every ten-hour shift and are entitled to a thirty-minute meal break daily.

Minimum Qualifications

· US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder

· Must pass background checks and drug tests regardless of interval

· English Proficiency

· Must be 18 years of age

· High school diploma/GED

· Previous Leadership experience

· 4+ years’ experience in manufacturing

· 4+ years’ experience with inspection equipment/processes

Physical Requirements:

  • RARE (less than 10%): crawling, climbing.
  • OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body-twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reaching, range-of-motion, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, balancing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • FREQUENT (up to 66%): walking, talking, sitting, standing, writing, maintaining concentration, lifting up to 10 lbs. gripping.
  • CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): maintain focus; reading, speaking clearly, seeing distant, seeing, hearing-speech-range, depth-perception, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, and near vision including clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less to work with small objects or read small/fine print, including use of hand-held devices and/or stationary computers, copy machines, and printers or scanners.
