Job Description
Come grow with us as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Soar Autism Center! Soar provides interdisciplinary early intervention services for young children ages 26 with autism. Our care model incorporates the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a naturalistic, developmental approach. In this role, you will deliver high-quality pediatric occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT, working alongside speech therapists, BCBAs, and psychologists to support the whole child.
Role Details
Job Type: Full-time, On-site
Schedule: Choose between available 4x10 or 5x8 schedules, depending on location and center maturity
Pay
Base Pay:$70,000.00 - $75,000.00/year per year
Bonus: Annual performance bonus potential up to $3,800, with additional compensation opportunities for achieving clinical certifications
What Youll Do
Deliver direct pediatric occupational therapy interventions to children ages 26 based on plans of care developed by supervising OTs.
Help children build fine and gross motor, sensory processing, feeding, and daily living skills in a center-based setting.
Integrate therapy goals into Soars ESDM-informed approach within an early intervention environment.
Collaborate closely with RBTs, SLPs, and other clinicians so occupational therapy targets are reinforced throughout each childs day.
Partner with families to share progress and provide practical strategies they can use outside of therapy.
Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, and individualized treatment.
Qualifications
Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
Current state licensure or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
Strong interest or experience in pediatric occupational therapy and neurodiversity-affirming care preferred.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary pediatric care.
