This is a high-impact technical leadership role within a large-scale enterprise engineering environment, focused on shaping and evolving SAP platforms that support mission-critical operations. In this position, you will lead engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and maintaining SAP solutions that enable core business functions across finance, HR, procurement, and enterprise operations. You will define platform strategy, drive architectural decisions, and ensure engineering excellence across SAP ecosystems spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments. Working closely with business stakeholders, security, and infrastructure teams, you will translate complex requirements into scalable and reliable SAP solutions. This role combines hands-on technical oversight with people leadership, requiring strong delivery management and governance capabilities. - Lead, mentor, and develop SAP engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive SAP platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap aligned with enterprise objectives and operational needs.
- Oversee design, development, configuration, and maintenance of SAP solutions across multiple functional and technical domains.
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
- Ensure SAP platform stability, performance, and reliability through governance frameworks, standards, and change management practices.
- Manage end-to-end SAP project delivery, including planning, execution, resource allocation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and GRC teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal control requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in SAP engineering practices, automation, tooling, and operational efficiency.
- Lead SAP upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives across enterprise systems.
- Maintain platform documentation, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Support operational excellence, including incident response, troubleshooting, and participation in on-call rotations when required.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in SAP ecosystems, including SAP platform engineering, architecture, or solution delivery.
- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, engineering management, or SAP platform ownership roles.
- Deep hands-on experience with SAP technologies such as S/4HANA, ECC, BTP, ABAP, and integration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional domains including Finance, HR, Procurement, or related enterprise processes.
- Experience leading full lifecycle SAP initiatives including design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
- Solid knowledge of SAP architecture, system integrations, and hybrid/cloud environments.
- Familiarity with SAP security, GRC, authorization concepts, and enterprise compliance frameworks.
- Experience collaborating across infrastructure, security, compliance, and business stakeholders in complex environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor and grow technical teams.
- Proven ability to drive engineering excellence, automation, and operational stability at scale.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
