This role supports the successful execution of complex nuclear power projects by providing structured project coordination, analytical support, and project controls assistance to project leadership teams. You will contribute directly to the monitoring and reporting of project performance, ensuring that financials, schedules, risks, and deliverables are accurately tracked and communicated. Working closely with project managers and cross-functional teams, you will help maintain alignment between planning, execution, and client expectations. The position involves supporting multiple concurrent projects in a highly regulated, detail-driven environment where accuracy and compliance are critical. You will also assist in preparing reporting materials and documentation that inform key decisions and project direction. This is a highly collaborative role offering exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects and advanced project management practices.
- Support project management teams in coordinating schedules, deliverables, financial tracking, risk assessments, and mitigation planning across multiple projects.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project controls tools, methodologies, and reporting frameworks to ensure accurate project performance monitoring.
- Compile and analyze project data, including budgets, staffing plans, contract backlogs, and schedule status updates.
- Develop and distribute regular project reports to support leadership decision-making and client communication.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with internal standards, client requirements, and established procedures.
- Provide administrative, analytical, and coordination support to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Support contract processing, project setup activities, and documentation management.
- Collaborate with project teams to track progress, identify risks, and support schedule adherence.
- Interface with internal stakeholders and client representatives for reporting and coordination purposes.
- 9+ years of experience in project-related roles, ideally including project controls, planning, or scheduling.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (engineering, project management, or similar discipline).
- Strong understanding of project controls principles, including scheduling, cost tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (and/or Access) for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Motivated, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and support evolving project needs.
- Preferred: experience in the power or nuclear industry, or exposure to engineering/project environments.
- Preferred: progress toward or attainment of certifications such as AACE, CCP, PSP, or PMI equivalents.
- Ability to support occasional travel for client or project coordination meetings.
- Competitive compensation range: $100,019 – $152,807 annually.
