This role is a key operational and customer-facing support function within a high-volume insurance sales environment, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for prospective clients moving through the purchasing journey. You will partner closely with Sales Representatives to manage new business inquiries, prepare insurance quotes, and guide customers through applications through to policy binding. The position plays a critical role in maintaining pipeline flow, improving conversion outcomes, and delivering a consistent, high-quality service experience. Working in a fast-paced, remote-first setup, you will handle multiple systems and communication channels while balancing accuracy, responsiveness, and customer empathy. This is a highly collaborative role where your attention to detail and communication skills directly influence customer satisfaction and sales success. It is well-suited for professionals who enjoy structured processes, problem-solving, and supporting revenue-generating teams.
- Support Sales Representatives by handling incoming new business requests, completing applications, and stepping in when coverage is needed.
- Guide prospective customers through the insurance purchase journey, from initial quote to policy binding.
- Generate accurate insurance quotes across multiple carriers and clearly explain coverage options to clients.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
- Educate customers on policy features, coverage options, and discounts to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain queue readiness and manage communications efficiently to ensure timely response to clients and sales teams.
- Track performance against KPIs such as conversion rates and contact handling expectations.
- Navigate multiple systems simultaneously, including quoting tools, CRM platforms, and communication systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of customer service experience, ideally in insurance or a related industry.
- Active Resident Property & Casualty Insurance Producer License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
- Familiarity with insurance carriers and state insurance regulations is an advantage.
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to navigate multiple software systems and perform accurate data entry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
- Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace, stable internet connection, and availability during standard business hours.
- Competitive annual salary range: USD $40,519 – $70,777, depending on experience and location.
