Job Description
Transformer Assembly Engineer
Lead, plan, and oversee assembly, integration, and optimization of transformer cores, coils, and related components in a manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency, precision, and compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations. Apply advanced engineering principles to optimize workflow, component integration, and optimize overall processes. Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes, reduce material waste, and implement engineering best practices. Supervise, mentor, and train assembly team members, providing technical guidance and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities. Manage tools, equipment, and materials to ensure proper handling, maintenance, and workflow optimization. Enforce safety protocols, conduct audits and training sessions, and maintain full compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering, winding, and other manufacturing teams to solve complex technical challenges and ensure seamless integration of transformer components.
Req.: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, + 5 years of progressive experience in transformer manufacturing or a related industry.
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced technical knowledge to assembly operations, process optimization, and team leadership.
