Experienced Day Shift Leader – Jersey Mike’s SubsJersey Mike’s Subs is hiring an experienced Shift Leader for our day shift!We’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and experienced restaurant professional who knows how to lead a team, provide outstanding customer service, and keep a busy restaurant running smoothly.Restaurant experience is required. This is a leadership position, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable taking charge, coaching team members, maintaining high standards, and leading by example.ResponsibilitiesLead and motivate team members during daily shiftsProvide friendly, fast, and accurate customer serviceEnsure sandwiches and other menu items are prepared according to Jersey Mike’s standardsAssign tasks and keep team members productive throughout the shiftMaintain a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurantHandle opening and daytime shift responsibilitiesAssist with cash handling and register proceduresMonitor food quality, portioning, and product freshnessHelp train and develop new and existing team membersHandle customer concerns professionallySupport management with inventory, prep, and daily restaurant operationsSet the example for teamwork, urgency, cleanliness, and hospitalityRequirementsPrevious restaurant experience is requiredPrevious shift leader, key holder, supervisor, or restaurant leadership experience is strongly preferredMust be dependable and able to work scheduled day shifts consistentlyStrong communication and leadership skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environmentPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to coach and hold team members accountableMust understand the importance of food safety and restaurant cleanlinessAbility to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant dutiesWhat We’re Looking ForThe right candidate is someone who doesn’t need to be constantly supervised.
