RISE Community Hospital DFW is opening its doors this fall in Mansfield, and we’re building a team of compassionate, skilled nurses to help us set a new standard for community care. Rise has operated in central Texas over 10 years and cared for over 30,000 patients, we are looking forward to bringing our services to the DFW area.

Our unique facility combines a high-functioning 9-bed Emergency Department with a 10-bed inpatient unit. Alongside fast-paced emergency care, we host the RISE Recovery Program—providing medical clearance, stabilization, and a safe harbor for patients taking their first critical steps toward sobriety.

What You’ll Do

As an ED & Substance Abuse Float RN, no two days will look the same. You will split your expertise between high-acuity emergency treatment and specialized recovery support:

● Emergency Nursing: Deliver rapid assessments, triage, IV/central line care, and critical interventions for acute medical and traumatic emergencies.

● Recovery & Detox Support: Provide direct bedside care for patients navigating substance use disorders and detox. Administer pain management, monitor withdrawal using protocols like CIWA, and manage acute symptoms (such as DTs and tachycardia) with empathy and clinical precision.

● Holistic Patient Advocacy: Conduct mental health screenings, provide emotional support to families, and connect patients with resources for long-term addiction recovery.

● Collaborative Care: Partner with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to build evidence-based, individual treatment plans.

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements

● Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.

● Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

● Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience in a hospital setting.

● Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Qualifications

● Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

● TNCC Certification.

● Experience in substance abuse, detox, or behavioral healthcare settings.
