CNC Maintenance Technician
Do you enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment and figuring out why a machine isn’t running the way it should?
Productivity, Inc. is looking for an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to service and repair CNC machine tools at customer facilities throughout Nebraska and western Iowa.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong industrial maintenance and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, variety, and working directly with customers.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC metalworking equipment, including Haas, Makino, Matsuura, Hwacheon, Citizen/Miyano, and other machine tool brands.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control-system problems.
- Repair and replace components including spindles, drives, servo systems, ball screws, slides, hydraulic systems, controls, and electrical components.
- Install, set up, calibrate, and adjust CNC machines and components.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to identify problems and determine solutions.
- Document service work and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
- Travel locally to customer sites in Nebraska and western Iowa. Occasional overnights (4–6 per month) may be required.
What You Bring
- 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
- Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro‑mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel throughout Nebraska and western Iowa, with 4–6 overnights per month.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Compensation and Benefits
- $30–$39/hour DOE, plus incentives — annual performance & salary reviews
- Full time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime
