Position Title: JTEKT Material Handler (Vonore)
Location: Vonore, Tennessee
Industrial Contract
Description: Control Stores Technician
In this role, you’ll operate a stand-up tugger pulling carts to deliver materials to different production areas such as assembly, machining, powder coat, or hose lines.

In this role, you’ll operate a stand-up tugger pulling carts to deliver materials to different production areas such as assembly, machining, powder coat, or hose lines.
Located in Vonore, TN
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a stand-up tugger to transport materials
- Complete and deliver Kanban orders to correct locations
- Scan Kanban cards to update inventory levels
- Ensure all materials are clearly labeled and follow the First-In, First-Out (FiFo) system
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and 5S standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Physical ability to:
- Walk 6–7 miles per shift
- Stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Lift up to 32 pounds regularly
- Bend, stretch, twist, and use fine motor skills with both hands
- Ability to read labels, scan parts, and inspect for accuracy
- This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active on the job and takes pride in keeping materials moving smoothly and efficiently.
