MAS Techno- Functional Architect in India at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a MAS Techno-Functional Architect based in India.

This is a senior architecture role focused on designing and delivering enterprise asset management solutions using IBM Maximo Application Suite. You will take ownership of techno-functional architecture across complex implementations, translating business requirements into scalable functional and technical designs. The role spans Maximo Manage, Asset Performance Management, Asset Investment Planning, and related solutions. You’ll work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to guide architectural decisions, integrations, and implementation best practices. Beyond project delivery, you’ll contribute to RFPs, proposals, estimations, and pre-sales solution shaping. • Own end-to-end techno-functional architecture for IBM Maximo Application Suite implementations.

• Lead solution design across Maximo Manage, Asset Performance Management modules including Monitor, Health, and Predict, Asset Investment Planning, and, where applicable, MREF and Renewables solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable functional designs, technical architectures, and implementation approaches.

• Design and guide integrations between Maximo Manage and APM components, including Monitor connectors and related data flows.

• Advise delivery teams on asset lifecycle management, work management, maintenance strategies, and Maximo implementation best practices.

• Provide architectural governance, conduct design reviews, and support technical decision-making throughout projects.

• Evaluate customization versus configuration approaches and guide teams toward maintainable and scalable solutions.

• Contribute technical and solution expertise to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and client presentations.

• Develop solution architectures, implementation approaches, technical responses, assumptions, and delivery strategies aligned with client requirements.

• Participate in proposal discussions and Q&A sessions, clearly communicating technical capabilities and recommended approaches.

• Partner with sales and business development teams to translate client challenges into relevant Maximo-based solution offerings.

• Support pricing and scope discussions by aligning architecture and delivery models with practical, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

• 7+ years of professional experience working with IBM Maximo, with strong hands-on expertise in Maximo Manage.

• Demonstrated implementation experience with Asset Performance Management, including APM Monitor as a mandatory requirement, as well as Health and Predict.

• Experience with Asset Investment Planning (AIP).

• Strong understanding of IBM Maximo Application Suite architecture, deployment models, and interactions between system components.

• Hands-on experience with Maximo integrations, including REST APIs, data connectors, and IoT integrations.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical architecture.

• Strong understanding of Maximo configuration and customization principles, with the ability to advise teams on the appropriate approach.

• Experience working with asset-intensive industries such as utilities, energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing.

• Exposure to renewable energy asset management, Maximo for Renewables, or MREF is highly desirable.

• Experience working in service-based organizations and across multiple client environments is preferred.

• Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to contribute effectively across multiple Maximo implementations and organizational contexts.

• Prior experience supporting pre-sales, RFP, RFI, proposal development, estimation, or solution-shaping activities is highly desirable.

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• IBM Maximo or MAS certifications are an advantage.
