Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer based in India.
This is an opportunity for a Junior Product Designer to help shape intuitive digital experiences across a global workforce platform.
You will transform real user problems into clear, accessible, and scalable product experiences.
The role spans the full design lifecycle, from user flows and wireframes to high-fidelity interfaces and implementation.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and operational stakeholders in a distributed, remote-first environment.
You will contribute to a growing design system while helping simplify complex workflows and business processes.
The position offers meaningful ownership alongside mentorship and exposure to product development end to end.
Strong design thinking and portfolio quality are prioritized over a specific number of years of experience.
Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces for new and existing product features.
Take designs from early concepts through implementation, QA, and the final shipped experience.
Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system in Figma, ensuring consistency across product experiences.
Partner with product managers and engineers throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation.
Conduct lightweight user research and usability checks to identify opportunities for product improvement.
Incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into iterative design solutions.
Prepare polished, developer-ready designs, specifications, and interaction details.
Remain engaged during implementation to help ensure the delivered experience meets the intended design quality.
Translate complex workflows, including multi-entity onboarding and payroll-related processes, into simple and intuitive interfaces.
Strong portfolio demonstrating product and UX design thinking, including the design process and rationale behind solutions, rather than visual polish alone.
Proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components, and design systems.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design fundamentals.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and incorporate constructive feedback.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in an asynchronous environment.
Comfort working as part of a distributed, remote-first team.
Curiosity about B2B, SaaS, payroll, HR technology, or workforce management products is a plus.
Recent graduates, bootcamp graduates, self-taught designers, and candidates at other stages of their design careers are welcome to apply when supported by a compelling portfolio.
Fully remote work.
Opportunity to work within a distributed, remote-first product team.
Direct collaboration with product, engineering, and operations stakeholders.
Mentorship combined with meaningful design ownership.
Exposure to the full product design lifecycle, from discovery through implementation.
Opportunity to contribute to and develop a scalable Figma-based design system.
Experience designing solutions for complex B2B and workforce-management workflows.
Flexible collaboration across an international environment.
