ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will work closely with the Sr. Business Development Manager to execute business development and marketing initiatives that strengthen client relationships and drive new business opportunities. You will take ownership of key projectsfrom pitches and RFPs to client events and thought leadership campaignsmanaging them independently from start to finish. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities. You will collaborate with attorneys and cross-functional Marketing and BD teams across our offices, building strong relationships that support firm-wide initiatives. - Support the Sr. Business Development Manager in executing practice group business development and marketing plans, taking ownership of projects from start to finish
- Draft, edit, and maintain practice group collateral, including capability statements, one-sheets, attorney bios, and website content
- Independently coordinate and prepare pitches and RFP responses, including research, content drafting, and deadline management
- Create and update PowerPoint presentations for client pitches, attorney meetings, and internal communications
- Conduct company, client, industry, and competitor research to support client targeting and business development opportunities
- Plan and execute client events, seminars, webinars, and CLE programs, managing logistics, vendors, and follow-up
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and thought leadership content across email, digital, social, and other channels
- Coordinate legal directory and ranking submissions (e.g., Chambers), gathering supporting materials and tracking results
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce/CRM and other firm systems, and support budget tracking and reporting
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines, ensuring accurate, professional, and confidential handling of materials
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree required with at least four years of professional services marketing experience; law firm background preferred, along with familiarity in assigned practices
- Previous Paralegal experience a plus
- Solid grounding in core marketing principles, including competitive intelligence, market research, and pitch/RFP development
- Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of accountability, responsibility, and responsiveness
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor content for business, legal, and niche audiences
- Sharp attention to detail across writing, research, and data management
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a track record of juggling priorities and meeting deadlines
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with a client-first mindset and a talent for identifying and pursuing strategic BD opportunities

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. We will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Fair Chance Laws and Ordinances.
New York salary range: $80k to $112k
Boston, Washington, D.C. salary range: $76k to $106k
