Screen Print Operator / Machine Operator in Adamstown, Maryland at Pacific Industrial Development

Technical Operator (SCREEN PRINT OPERATOR)

The Screen Print Operator works with other team members setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic screen-printing machines used in the production of the company's product. Checks and inspects screen printed parts against predetermined tolerances and inspection criteria. Candidate will be required to sit for extended periods of time and must have good communication skills. Will be required to meet a set minimum run rate per hour once training is completed.

Work schedule: Regular schedule will be 1st shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday-Friday) OR 2nd shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm Monday-Friday) after training on 1st shift.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Inspection and setup of screens per work instructions and/or job travelers.
• Mixing and prepping of printing material.
• Operation of screen-printing machine.
• Pre-inspection and post-inspection of parts.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials and Assembly drawings.
• Visual acuity to inspect for product defects.
• Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.
• Experience of 2-3 years minimum working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior screen-printing experience preferred.
