Job Description

Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a Project Manager, Activation (Operations Manager) to serve as the operational anchor of the Factory Migration Team — the day-to-day liaison between onshore program leadership and the offshore resources executing campaign and QA work. This role translates priorities downstream and surfaces status, risks, and blockers upstream in real time.

This is a hands-on-keyboard role, not a purely managerial one. Alongside directing the team, you will personally build, launch, and optimize campaigns and journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) as part of a migration from Oracle Eloqua onto the Adobe stack (AEP / RT-CDP B2B / AJO / CJA) — designing for the target state under a “rebuild, not export-import” strategy, not replicating legacy programs.

Location: Remote – Mexico only

Key ResponsibilitiesOnshore–Offshore Liaison
  • Serve as the operational point of contact between onshore leadership and offshore campaign/QA resources; translate priorities into clear work packages and return status, risks, and blockers before they become escalations.
  • Run the daily delivery rhythm — standups, cross-time-zone handoffs, and WIP tracking — and manage campaign-request intake: qualify, prioritize, assign, and track against SLAs.
  • Represent the Factory Migration Team in weekly Portfolio Reviews with the Studio.
Hands-On AJO Campaign Creation & Optimization
  • Build and configure B2B campaigns and journeys in AJO — triggers, events, decisioning, audiences, templates, and personalization — with consent, suppression, and frequency rules applied to every launch.
  • Execute campaign rebuilds through the Eloqua-to-Adobe migration: pilot, parallel run, phased waves, and cutover support.
  • Monitor in-flight performance and run structured optimization cycles (content, timing, audience, channel mix); partner with the CJA Specialist to ground decisions in data and feed findings back into playbooks and templates.
Team & Operations Management
  • Direct the day-to-day work of offshore Campaign Specialists and QA: assignments, workload balancing, quality expectations, and timelines.
  • Enforce the golden-path delivery workflow — standardized briefs, build checklists, QA gates, and launch approvals — and own launch quality: no campaign goes live without passing QA.
  • Track and report SLA, throughput, and quality metrics; maintain runbooks and SOPs; ramp new Factory resources as the team scales into 2027.
Collaboration
  • Partner with the Journey (AJO) Product Lead on standards and escalation of complex orchestration, the CDP Manager on audiences and activation, the CJA Specialist on measurement, and the QA Specialist on launch readiness.
  • Support UAT, deliverable acceptance, and production hypercare alongside onshore leads; validate compliance rules (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR) in campaign logic.
Required Skills & ExperienceExperience
  • 5+ years in marketing operations, campaign management, or MarTech delivery.
  • 2+ years hands-on with Adobe Journey Optimizer building and launching production campaigns.
  • Experience leading or coordinating distributed delivery teams across time zones; prior agency or client-facing enterprise delivery experience.
Platform & Delivery Expertise
  • AJO — campaign/journey configuration, audiences, content, decisioning, and channel setup.
  • AEP / RT-CDP B2B working knowledge — profiles, segments, and datasets feeding journey logic; familiarity with CJA for measurement.
  • Email production fundamentals — templates, dynamic content, rendering, deliverability; Eloqua experience a strong plus given the migration.
  • Campaign delivery operations — intake and SLA management, QA discipline, runbooks/SOPs, and delivery metrics reporting.
Preferred Qualifications/Education
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) for daily work with US leadership and stakeholders; Spanish fluency for regional coordination.
  • Strong upward communication — concise status, early risk flagging, no-surprises escalation — and comfort holding a distributed team to quality and deadline standards.
  • Ability to align working hours to US Central/Eastern business hours, with flexibility to bridge offshore handoffs.
  • Ability to accommodate occasional travel for program milestones.
