Route Delivery Driver in Jerome, Idaho at US Dairy Systems Inc

ADChemco is hiring a dependable Class A CDL Delivery Driver for home-daily deliveries of packaged chemical products to commercial and industrial customers. This is a hands-on delivery position—not a drop-and-hook job.

Drivers safely transport and unload drums, 275-gallon totes, and other packaged products using pumps, hoses, barrel carts, and related delivery equipment. The work requires safe driving, physical capability, attention to detail, and professional customer service.

· Operate a Class A tractor with a 47-foot dry van.

· Deliver drums, 275-gallon totes, and other packaged chemical products.

· Connect and operate pumps and hoses to transfer products safely.

· Use barrel carts and other delivery equipment to move drums safely.

· Secure, transport, verify, and unload the correct products and quantities.

· Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

· Complete electronic logs, delivery documents, and inspection records accurately.

· Follow DOT, FMCSA, HazMat, hours-of-service, company, and customer-site safety requirements.

· Wear required personal protective equipment and follow chemical-handling procedures.

· Communicate delays, damaged freight, equipment problems, and customer concerns promptly.

· Follow assigned routes and use safe, efficient routing.

· Maintain clean, professional equipment and report maintenance needs.

· Assist with loading and other operational duties when required.

· Represent ADChemco professionally at every customer location.

· Monday through Friday with weekends off.

· Home daily; route lengths and daily hours vary with delivery volume and customer needs.

· ADChemco works to minimize overtime, although occasional overtime may be required.

· Holiday work is uncommon but may occasionally be necessary.

· When holiday work is required, employees receive pay for hours worked in addition to eight hours of holiday pay, according to company policy.

· Valid Class A commercial driver’s license.

· HazMat endorsement and Tanker endorsement.

· No air-brake restriction.

· Current DOT medical certification and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

· FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse compliance.

· Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.

· Working knowledge of DOT and hours-of-service regulations.

· Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes responsibly.

· Dependable attendance, punctuality, communication, and attention to detail.

· Previous Class A driving experience is preferred. A newer driver may be considered when the qualifications, safety record, and overall fit are right.

Applicants must be able to safely perform the physical duties of this chemical-delivery position, including:

· Frequently enter and exit the tractor and trailer.

· Climb steps while maintaining three points of contact.

· Stand and walk for extended periods.

· Bend, reach, kneel, crouch, push, and pull throughout the workday.

· Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Connect, operate, drain, and store pumps and hoses.

· Push and safely control loaded barrel carts on appropriate surfaces.

· Work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, and changing weather conditions.

· Wear required personal protective equipment.

· Work safely around regulated chemical products.

Maintain the strength, balance, mobility, and coordination needed to complete deliveries safely.
