We are seeking an Admissions Manager to add to our dynamic team! The Admissions Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily performance and operations of the admissions team to ensure exceptional service, efficient workflows, and achievement of departmental goals. This role provides leadership, coaching, and accountability for Admissions Specialists and Team Leads, while monitoring key performance indicators related to admissions, conversion, call handling, follow-up management, and client experience. The Admissions Manager collaborates with department leadership to implement operational initiatives, optimize processes, maintain compliance with organizational standards, and support census and revenue objectives. Through effective team leadership and performance management, the Admissions Manager drives operational excellence and fosters a culture of accountability, professionalism, and client-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and help develop Admission Specialists and Team Leads to achieve individual and team performance goals
- Monitor and manage departmental performance metrics including but not limited to conversion rates, call answer rates, follow-up compliance
- Conduct routine performance reviews, coaching sessions, and accountability discussions to support employee growth and performance improvement
- Monitor daily team performance and implement action plans in coordination with Senior Directors of Admissions & VPs of Admission
- Oversee daily admissions operations and ensure adherence to established workflows and standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and admission best practices
- Assist with departmental reporting needs
Qualifications
- High School or GED required, college degree preferred
- Must be able to manage and monitor the answering of incoming calls and incoming emails from individuals needing information or help with alcoholism and drug addiction
- Must supervise employees to provide excellent customer service experiences
- Employee must possess excellent knowledge about alcoholism and drug addiction and its consequences
- Must be able to assist in the supervision of Recovery Advisors in directing callers to appropriate locations
- Must possess skills in overcoming objections and be able to motivate staff to do the same.
- Employee must possess excellent communication skills
