$95,000 - $140,000 DOE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation in the family law practice area.
- Assist senior attorneys in case management, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to gather information, provide updates, and negotiate settlements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
- Attend client meetings, consultations, and court appearances as required.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends affecting our practice areas.
- Uphold the firm's commitment to providing high-quality legal services, ethical conduct, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
- Experience in family law practice, including divorce, custody, and support cases.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
- Proven track record of drafting clear and concise legal documents.
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and negotiations.
- Experience representing clients in court and other legal proceedings is preferred but not required.
