Description:

This position is responsible for directing and controlling all operational aspects for the facility – CFI assembly & repair, hose assembly, instrument shop, materials & inventory fulfillment, and facility maintenance. Jointly reporting to the Vice President of Operations and the CFI Operations Manager, the role will have strong dotted lines to the Vice President of Supply Chain and to the Director of Facilities and Safety. The role will work closely with the Tulsa Branch Manager to ensure the profitable growth of the facility, and that facility operations support sales in the most efficient manner possible.

Position Responsibilities

  • Exercise a hands-on approach to leadership and coordination of all operations activities in the facility.
  • Responsible for overall performance related to cost, quality, schedule, and safety for all manufacturing & assembly operations.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily operational activities to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
  • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely delivery of products. Communicate the shop schedule, liaising with scheduling on the progress and status of current jobs.
  • Employ lean methodologies and tools to accomplish business objectives.
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending and implementing solutions for improvement when necessary
  • Leading the daily SQDP process across all operational areas
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement, applying best practices to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. Manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement.
  • Monthly reporting of facility performance metrics to upper management
  • Collaborate with senior-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Point of Contact for Facilities Maintenance including but not limited to; alarm system, janitorial, after hours on call list, HVAC service, and opening /closing schedule
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting employee engagement and growth.
Requirements:

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, or a related field experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in production / manufacturing operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce across multiple functional areas
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production planning and scheduling, process optimization, lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production challenges effectively.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools to monitor and analyze production data.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.

  • Work is performed under normal working conditions with adequate lighting and ventilation

  • Must be willing to work in both sitting and standing positions for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE as required per job
