Job Description
SUMMARY
The Employee Support Career Coach Coordinator (ESCCC) will provide individualized support to program participants through all phases of the program including on the job coaching and meeting with employers to set participant goals and mediate work and personal challenges by:
- Connecting employees to services and jobs that will increase employee’s productivity
- and success in the workplace.
- Identifying additional training opportunities, apprenticeship programs, vocational training, college and career opportunities
- Update and track programmatic benchmarks and deliverables in monitoring internal/external systems

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts daily tracking of employees, captures and documents retention milestones on identified database system and required reports.
- Supports current CRCD Enterprises employees’ transition to regular employment.
- Assists all employees in developing individualized post-employment plans suited to their educational and training needs and provides post-employment career counseling.
- Conduct comprehensive employment readiness assessment for CRCD Enterprises and other potential employers.
- Builds a relationship with employees to build bridges to future long-term job/career retention.
- Build relationships with prospective employers.
- Participates and supports job placement activities including providing necessary services, resume building, interview coaching, assistance with appropriate dress and behaviors, and other activities as necessary.
- Conducts workshops/presentations covering a range of topics such as life skills, financial literacy, conflict resolution, overcoming challenges, etc.
- Build relationships with universities, colleges, and training facilities to assist potential candidate’s complete applications, aid in completing enrollment process.
- Build relationships with community-based organizations and government agencies to promote collaboration, solve problems, and identify resources for employees.
- Produce and/or organize informational materials for employees that will help them better understand careers (information about requirements, start pay, etc.,)
- Support employees in getting their records sealed, expunged, and/or seek legal assistance if necessary
- Develop an Employment and Educational Plan identifying barriers to employment/education and action steps to address those barriers and meet with youth on an individual basis at least bi-weekly to monitor progress to identify resources to meet employment/academic needs
- Follow procedures regarding recordkeeping, documentation, confidentiality, and maintaining case files
- Collaborate and confer with other staff as appropriate to coordinate services and implement the program.
- Assist with fulfilling grant and contract requirements for the program.
- Participate in program evaluation process.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Microsoft office, internet
Certificates and Licenses: Valid California Driver License
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
SALARY RANGE
$25.00 - $27.00
