Role Overview
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Lead/Key Holder is a leadership position within the bakery team, working alongside the Bakery Manager to deliver high-quality cakes, maintain a welcoming environment, and ensure a superior guest experience. The role is central to upholding NbC’s core values and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Team Leadership: Prioritize guest satisfaction, model excellent guest engagement, and foster a positive work environment.

• Operational Leadership: Partner with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand/merchandise presentation, and inventory control.

• Training & Development: Support recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching team members to NbC standards.

• Quality & Compliance: Ensure product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising meet NbC policies and food safety standards.

• Administrative Duties: Assist with cake production plans, productivity goals, supply ordering, sales/labor reporting, and special-order fulfillment (web/email, corporate, large orders).

• Opening/Closing: Co-facilitate bakery opening and closing, including cash drawer balancing and bank deposits.

• Marketing & Events: Contribute to local marketing strategies and participate in brand-building events.

• Hands-On Involvement: Regularly perform various bakery roles as needed
