JOB TITLE: Technical Supervisor Radiology
DEPARTMENT: Radiology
REPORTS TO: Director of Radiology
JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Supervisor of Radiology will lead and manage department, clinical and administrative operations, department human resources, financial resources and hospital mission and goals. They will collaborate with other hospital departments, teams and functions to coordinate quality cost effective care and hospital wide systems. They will supervise, coordinate, and direct the activities of the Radiology Department in the delivery of consistently high-quality patient care. The Technical Supervisor must be able to serve in his/her assigned modality, and support/direct those in other modalities and areas within Radiology.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Wyoming Technologist license.
- ARRT certified or NMTCB or ARDMS certifications are also accepted
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in managing personnel. Previous leadership experience in associated field of radiology.

- Must possess a high degree of confidentiality in all matters with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Must have professional rapport and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with staff and the public in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.
- Must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Able to assume a leadership role and serve as an example to other employees.
- Able to perform effectively in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of general radiography, CT, MRI, NM, Mammo
- Must have ability to write policies and procedures.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be well motivated, organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products knowledge including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new computer software applications.
