Creative Director, Lifecycle & Organic Growth

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Creative Director, Lifecycle & Organic Growth in United States.

This is a high-impact creative leadership role focused on redefining how a fast-scaling consumer platform communicates with its users across lifecycle and organic channels. You will be responsible for transforming functional, transactional messaging into emotionally resonant, trust-building storytelling that improves engagement and long-term retention. Acting as the voice of the brand, you will shape how millions of customers experience communications across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. The role sits at the intersection of copywriting excellence, product marketing, and growth strategy, requiring both creative intuition and analytical awareness. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, growth, and customer insights to build a cohesive tone of voice from the ground up. This is a hands-on, senior-level individual contributor role with significant influence on brand perception, customer trust, and lifecycle performance.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the transformation of lifecycle and CRM communications across email, SMS, push, and in-app messaging, shifting tone from transactional to human-centered and value-driven.
  • Define and evolve the brand voice across organic and lifecycle channels, ensuring consistency, clarity, and emotional resonance.
  • Collaborate with product, design, growth, and insights teams to translate user behavior and data into compelling, empathetic messaging strategies.
  • Develop creative frameworks and messaging systems that improve engagement, trust, and long-term customer retention.
  • Own copy development for customer journeys, feature launches, and ongoing communications across lifecycle stages.
  • Expand scope into broader organic growth channels, including social media and community-driven platforms, as brand voice matures.
  • Use qualitative insights, customer pain points, and behavioral data to shape narratives that strengthen brand affinity and customer relationships.
  • Contribute to strategy discussions on how storytelling and copy can drive measurable business and growth outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in creative marketing, copywriting, or lifecycle/organic growth roles within consumer-focused brands.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in copywriting, tone development, and customer-facing messaging across multiple channels.
  • Deep expertise in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email, SMS, and organic content strategy.
  • Ability to translate complex or emotionally sensitive topics into clear, engaging, and human-centered messaging.
  • Strong understanding of audience development, community dynamics, and modern social platforms.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with cross-functional collaboration.
  • First-principles thinker with strong qualitative reasoning and customer empathy.
  • Comfortable influencing analytical or data-driven stakeholders while advocating for brand and creative excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $185,000, plus equity opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Paid time off, parental leave, and wellness benefits.
  • 401(k) plan (U.S.) or RRSP (Canada) with employer matching.
  • Flexible remote work environment across multiple U.S. locations.
  • Employee equity grants as part of total compensation.
  • Opportunity to shape a brand voice from the ground up in a high-growth, well-funded company.
  • Access to a collaborative, innovation-driven culture focused on creativity, experimentation, and impact.
