Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate the transition of incoming cohorts and new technical capabilities into sustainment operations across a large healthcare modernization program.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth onboarding, transition planning, and operational continuity.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure all transition-related tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supporting documentation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide consultative guidance on sustainment and operational transition activities.
  • Support administrative and analytical functions, including status tracking, reporting, meeting coordination, and financial documentation.
  • Contribute to program governance through progress reports, meeting minutes, and operational updates.
  • Assist in maintaining alignment between sustainment strategies and evolving project requirements or technical changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing day-to-day operations within program or project environments.
  • Experience coordinating technical activities, operational workflows, staff tasks, or business operations support functions.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Familiarity with IT project management methodologies, coordination processes, and operational best practices.
  • Experience improving operational processes and implementing workflow enhancements in project or program settings.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leadership levels.
  • Experience working with systems such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed procedures, and produce high-quality documentation under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 (SSBI/T5) clearance.
