If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to heavy civil construction projects by transporting heavy equipment, then look no further! As a Haul Truck Driver, you will drive large, heavy equipment such as Trackhoes, Loaders, and Dozers to and from jobsites. You'll be responsible for transporting equipment locally but may be required to make out-of-state hauls a few times a year.
In this position, you will operate large tractor-trailer rigs and flat-bed transports to move heavy equipment to and from jobsites. You'll also drive a truck equipped with a dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, coal, or bituminous paving materials, or drive a truck equipped with a water tank to wet dirt and gravel in construction areas. A valid CDL and driving experience is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Drive large, heavy equipment to and from jobsites
- Transport and dump loose materials
- Operate a truck equipped with a water tank to wet dirt and gravel
- Maintain log books
- Willingness to perform laborer work
- Ability to work safely under pressure with time constraints in a changing environment
Position Requirements
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of 6 months of mixer truck driving experience
- CDL Class A or B license
- Willingness to work nights, early mornings, and weekends
