We’re hiring experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialists to support advanced manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment in Lafayette, Indiana. This is not an entry-level maintenance role. We’re looking for technicians who can confidently troubleshoot CNC machinery, diagnose electrical issues, and keep production running safely and efficiently.

You’ll walk into a high-volume manufacturing environment where uptime matters. Your shift may start with reviewing downtime reports from the previous crew and prioritizing urgent machine issues.
Throughout the night, you’ll troubleshoot CNC equipment, electrical systems, PLC-related faults, sensors, drives, motors, and production machinery to get operations back online quickly and safely. Some nights are heavy on emergency breakdowns; others allow time for preventive maintenance and identifying recurring issues before they become failures.
You’ll work closely with operators and production teams to diagnose problems in real time. One minute you may be tracing voltage issues or replacing failed components, and the next you could be rebuilding assemblies, performing precision adjustments, welding small repairs, or machining replacement parts.
This role is best suited for technicians who enjoy solving problems independently, staying busy, and working in environments where technical skill is respected.

We invest heavily in our maintenance teams because we understand how difficult it is to find skilled technicians. MMS provides long-term stability, opportunities for advancement, and ongoing technical development for employees who want to grow into senior specialist and leadership roles.
If you're tired of being treated like “just maintenance,” this is a chance to join a company that values experienced tradespeople and rewards technical ability.
