Description:
HTI is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC. If you are a skilled maintenance professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities, this is an opportunity to join a stable manufacturing environment where your expertise will help keep critical facility systems operating safely and efficiently. This position supports all plant infrastructure, utilities, HVAC systems, cranes, and facility equipment.
Facilities Maintenance Technician
Pay: $35.77/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Occasional Weekends)
Location: Anderson, SC
Troubleshoot and repair facility-related mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation of plant infrastructure
Maintain and repair chilled water systems, cooling towers, air compressors, and HVAC equipment
Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and monitoring systems
Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, piping, and hydraulic systems
Diagnose and repair motors, starters, switchboards, controls, and other electrical equipment
Weld and fabricate modifications and repairs as needed
Assist with machinery moves, rigging, and equipment installation
Support continuous operation of plant utilities including compressed air, water, heating, and cooling systems
Maintain equipment lubrication programs and facility maintenance records
Apply 5S standards and support a safe, organized work environment
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of PLC systems and electrical troubleshooting
Experience with HVAC, facility utilities, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment
Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, depth gauges, and HVAC gauges
Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Knowledge of industrial safety practices and maintenance procedures
Ability to wear a personal fall protection harness and work in various facility environments
