Custodial Attendant in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Level 10 Management LLC

Pay: $16-18/hr DOE

Location: Albertville, MN

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, 8:30-9:30am

Position Summary

The Custodial Attendant is responsible for ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all tenants. This hands-on role involves general facility maintenance & custodial duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Custodial Duties: Clean common areas & entries on days janitorial company does not clean, including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and stairwells. Empty trash receptacles and ensure dumpster areas are clean and free of debris.
• Groundskeeping & Seasonal Upkeep: Maintain outdoor areas, remove litter, pick up dog waste, and perform seasonal exterior maintenance, including shoveling snow, ice removal, and salting sidewalks. Water & maintain seasonal pots.
• Pool: Test chemicals in pool and notify maintenance if chemicals are unbalanced or other safety concerns. Straighten furniture & removed trash.
• Unit Turnovers (optional): Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by completing cleaning.
• Security & Access Control: Monitor the premises for safety hazards, property damage, or policy violations. Ensure building doors and windows are secured.
• Resident Relations: Act as a helpful and approachable point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns or directing them to appropriate management staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Previous janitorial and pool experience is a plus
• Skills: Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform strenuous physical tasks both indoors and outdoors.
