Staff Project Manager, IT Enterprise Applications

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Project Manager, IT Enterprise Applications based in United States.

This role sits at the center of large-scale enterprise transformation, driving the delivery of complex, cross-functional IT initiatives that power core business systems.
You will oversee end-to-end execution of strategic programs spanning enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, HCM, CPQ, and GTM platforms.
The position requires strong leadership across technical and business teams, ensuring alignment, transparency, and delivery excellence in a fast-paced environment.
You will define structure, governance, and execution frameworks that enable predictable delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
A strong focus is placed on leveraging modern AI tools and automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and stakeholder communication.
This is a high-impact role for a hands-on program leader who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys scaling enterprise systems in a high-growth organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise application programs, including implementations, integrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
  • Define and manage full project lifecycles, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource planning, risk tracking, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner with IT product, engineering, architecture, and business teams to translate requirements into executable delivery plans.
  • Develop executive-level reporting, including dashboards, steering committee updates, and escalation frameworks.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery blockers while driving resolution strategies.
  • Lead vendor and third-party management, including SOW review, milestone tracking, and performance oversight.
  • Drive continuous improvement across PMO practices, governance frameworks, and delivery standards.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to the evolution of project management methodologies and tooling.
  • Champion the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance project execution, reporting, and documentation workflows.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise application implementations in complex environments.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and delivering high-quality presentations to senior leadership.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to support documentation, reporting, analysis, and project execution.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and enterprise architecture principles is advantageous.
  • Experience contributing to or scaling PMO functions is highly valued.
