We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associates to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and equipment operation. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Overview
We are hiring Warehouse associates to support core distribution operations. This role focuses on hands-on warehouse execution, including receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and material handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Build and assemble pallets for storage or shipment as required.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Perform picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational issues.
- Manually unload floor loaded ocean containers. Lifting is required.
Skills
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a Warehouse Supervisor is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various equipment safely.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout the shift.
- Proficient in using equipment such as cranes, cherry pickers, and reach trucks.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $18.00-$20.00 / Hour
