Job Description
Ensures accurate risk rating for all loans in Alabama Credit Union's lending portfolio. Maintains records and files on all credit transactions, including correspondence and documents. Uses commercial analytics and tracking software to perform initial and ongoing analysis of commercial loans and individual guarantors risk rating.
Requirements:Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience, with two years of experience in consumer and commercial loan analysis.
Education: Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in Finance or Statistics)
Proficiency in Sageworks software strongly preferred. Must have a thorough understanding of report-building, including formatting, ensuring accuracy, and utilizing the data for practical application.
Proficiency in the use of a personal computer to include advanced knowledge of MS Word, and Excel; the ability to use web and web-based applications; proficiency in the use of a 10-key calculator; keyboarding 30 wpm; advanced Spectrum and Teller Advantage, thorough knowledge and understanding of ACU policies and procedures; thorough knowledge and understanding of governmental regulations for financial institutions; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong organizational skills; indirect supervisory skills; ability to comprehend and apply rules and guidelines appropriately within position. Professional presentation and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor under potentially stressful circumstances is required. The ability to change tasks quickly and efficiently, and manage multiple conflicting priorities, is key to this position. A very high degree of accuracy is required.
