You will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating marketing and operational needs into well-defined user stories and actionable technical configurations. The position requires deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a strong ability to independently design, build, and optimize multi-channel customer journeys. You will play a critical role in shaping how outbound communications are delivered, ensuring precision in segmentation, automation, and personalization strategies. Working in an agile environment, you will manage backlogs, guide development priorities, and ensure delivery aligns with business goals and compliance requirements. This is a highly autonomous and impactful role suited for a hands-on CRM expert who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Own and manage prioritized product and campaign backlogs, translating business and marketing requirements into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Design, build, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud journeys, automations, and campaigns across email, SMS, outbound calls, and other channels.
- Serve as the primary configuration owner for SFMC, independently developing and deploying campaigns without reliance on external execution support.
- Define and implement segmentation logic, data extensions, and audience structures to support scalable personalization and targeting.
- Partner with marketing, IT, and engineering teams to align outbound strategies with technical architecture and business objectives.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize journeys, automations, and data flows to ensure performance, accuracy, and reliability.
- Establish and refine operational processes, including campaign governance, documentation standards, QA workflows, and reusable frameworks.
- Support agile ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of marketing and CRM initiatives.
- Ensure compliance, risk controls, and data integrity standards are embedded across all CRM configurations and processes.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
- Strong ability to translate business and marketing requirements into technical SFMC configurations and scalable campaign designs.
- Proven experience as a SFMC power user or configuration owner, independently building and managing complex campaigns.
- Deep understanding of SFMC data architecture, including data extensions, contact models, and segmentation frameworks.
- Experience designing and executing multi-channel outbound programs (email, SMS, outbound calls, triggered and batch campaigns).
- Strong troubleshooting skills within SFMC, including debugging automations, journeys, and data issues.
- Familiarity with integration between SFMC and CRM/CDP/data warehouse ecosystems.
- Strong Agile experience (Scrum, SAFe, or similar), with ability to manage backlogs and write user stories.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in process design, governance, and campaign operationalization in a large-scale environment.
- Competitive salary range from $103,450 to $197,730 USD annually.
- Performance-based incentive compensation opportunities.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) retirement plan, pension benefits, and financial wellness programs.
- Paid time off, holidays, and paid volunteer hours.
- Parental leave and adoption assistance programs.
- Remote work flexibility within the United States (with occasional office requirements depending on location).
- Strong focus on career development, continuing education, and internal mobility.
- Inclusive and mission-driven culture centered on service, integrity, and innovation.
