You will lead a small team of engineers while actively contributing to the design, development, and delivery of full-stack systems that modernize complex real-world processes. Acting as both a builder and a leader, you will influence architecture decisions, set technical direction, and ensure high-quality software delivery across your domain. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate operational and customer needs into scalable technical solutions. This position requires strong ownership, a systems-thinking mindset, and the ability to balance long-term architectural vision with rapid execution. It is ideal for a senior engineer ready to expand impact through leadership while remaining deeply technical.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide technical leadership across your domain, defining architecture, API design, and data models to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of features, from technical design and development to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
  • Contribute actively as a hands-on engineer, writing production-grade code and participating in core system development.
  • Review technical designs, improve engineering standards, and support developers in solving complex technical challenges.
  • Manage a team of 2–4 engineers, including 1:1s, feedback cycles, performance management, and career development support.
  • Drive planning, prioritization, and execution of team deliverables while being accountable for outcomes and timelines.
  • Partner with product and design teams to translate real-world operational needs into robust, scalable software solutions.
  • Participate in hiring efforts and help raise the overall technical bar of the engineering organization.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production systems.
  • Prior experience in a technical lead, staff engineer, or engineering management role, including direct or informal team leadership.
  • Strong full-stack development experience with modern technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Proven ability to design scalable systems balancing rapid iteration with long-term reliability and maintainability.
  • Experience working closely with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and drive engineering excellence.
  • Comfortable using AI-powered development tools and integrating them into daily engineering workflows.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in written form, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
