You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate operational and customer needs into scalable technical solutions. - Provide technical leadership across your domain, defining architecture, API design, and data models to ensure scalable and maintainable systems.
- Own end-to-end delivery of features, from technical design and development to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
- Contribute actively as a hands-on engineer, writing production-grade code and participating in core system development.
- Review technical designs, improve engineering standards, and support developers in solving complex technical challenges.
- Manage a team of 2–4 engineers, including 1:1s, feedback cycles, performance management, and career development support.
- Drive planning, prioritization, and execution of team deliverables while being accountable for outcomes and timelines.
- Partner with product and design teams to translate real-world operational needs into robust, scalable software solutions.
- Participate in hiring efforts and help raise the overall technical bar of the engineering organization.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production systems.
- Prior experience in a technical lead, staff engineer, or engineering management role, including direct or informal team leadership.
- Strong full-stack development experience with modern technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Proven ability to design scalable systems balancing rapid iteration with long-term reliability and maintainability.
- Experience working closely with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and drive engineering excellence.
- Comfortable using AI-powered development tools and integrating them into daily engineering workflows.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in written form, with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
- Competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 USD, plus equity compensation.
