Business Office Manager – Long Term Care
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Office Manager to oversee the financial operations of our long-term care facility. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement
- Manage accounts receivable, and other financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare billing and finance
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize financial workflows
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review
- Address and resolve billing discrepancies and patient account issues
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial and patient information
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in healthcare finance, billing, or business office management, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing processes
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in financial software and electronic health record systems
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations governing healthcare billing and finance
