Job Description

Creative Copywriter

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Copywriter based in the United States.

We are seeking a versatile, mid-level Creative Copywriter to bring an established brand voice to life across marketing campaigns and guest experiences. In this remote contract role, you will transform consumer insights, creative briefs, and marketing strategies into distinctive, engaging copy that inspires action. You will contribute to integrated campaigns spanning digital advertising, websites, email marketing, social media, partnerships, and physical experiences. Working closely with creative, growth, lifecycle, and brand teams, you will help deliver consistent storytelling across every audience touchpoint. This opportunity is ideal for a writer who combines conceptual thinking with strong executional skills and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will have meaningful ownership of assigned projects while helping strengthen brand recognition, audience engagement, and conversion.

Accountabilities:
  • Concept Development: Develop creative concepts and integrated campaigns from established briefs, translating audience insights and marketing strategies into compelling ideas and messaging.
  • Multichannel Copywriting: Write engaging copy for regional and local marketing, out-of-home advertising, paid media, performance campaigns, websites, landing pages, email newsletters, lifecycle communications, and organic social content.
  • Experiential and Partnership Messaging: Create copy for brand partnerships, activations, retail initiatives, events, onsite signage, environmental messaging, and other guest-facing experiences.
  • Brand Voice and Quality: Apply the established brand voice consistently across channels, balancing playfulness, cultural relevance, emotional engagement, and conversion objectives. Edit, proofread, and quality-check content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner with creative directors, designers, and marketing leads to develop cohesive campaign narratives, messaging hierarchies, and channel-specific content.
  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate with Growth and Lifecycle teams to refine conversion-focused copy using performance insights, testing results, and audience learnings.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Work with Social, Brand Partnerships, Production, Experience Design, and museum teams to identify storytelling opportunities and support integrated initiatives.
  • Project Management: Manage assigned briefs, deadlines, feedback, and revision cycles while communicating progress clearly and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Brand Documentation: Contribute practical examples and learnings to brand voice guidelines and provide occasional support for internal and employee communications.

Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of copywriting experience within an advertising, design, or creative agency or a consumer-facing brand.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual campaign development and polished writing across multiple channels, with a clear explanation of your individual contribution.
  • Ability to translate consumer insights, creative briefs, and marketing strategies into original concepts and clear, compelling copy.
  • Experience writing across campaign headlines, digital and performance advertising, lifecycle communications, and detailed informational or onsite messaging.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, audience behavior, channel requirements, and conversion-focused communication.
  • Excellent creative judgment and the ability to adapt tone and messaging to different audiences and platforms without compromising brand consistency.
  • Experience collaborating with designers, creative leads, and marketers, incorporating feedback, and improving work through iterative revisions.
  • Excellent editing, proofreading, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines reliably, and work effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative, test-and-learn environment.

Benefits:

  • Hourly compensation of $70–$80 per hour.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
  • Full-time contract commitment of 40 hours per week.
  • Defined four-month temporary contract, offering meaningful ownership of creative projects and the opportunity to contribute to a growing consumer brand.
