This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Coveo Search & Merchandising Specialist (Coveo Administrator) in India.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and governing enterprise search experiences using the Coveo platform to ensure high-quality, relevant, and consistent customer discovery journeys across digital channels. You will act as the subject matter expert for search relevance and merchandising, ensuring that users can efficiently find the right content, products, and information. The position involves close collaboration with digital product, content, UX, SEO, and technical teams to continuously improve search performance and user experience. You will analyze search behavior, identify optimization opportunities, and implement configuration changes that directly impact engagement and conversion outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role where technology, data, and customer experience intersect. You will also support governance, documentation, testing, and release readiness activities. The environment is global, collaborative, and focused on continuous digital experience optimization.
- Manage day-to-day administration of the Coveo platform, including configuration, access control, indexing pipelines, and governance processes.
- Configure and optimize search relevance and merchandising rules such as boosting, burying, pinning, synonyms, redirects, and query behavior adjustments.
- Design and maintain query pipelines, facets, filters, ranking strategies, and result configurations to improve search outcomes and user experience.
- Monitor and analyze search performance using Coveo analytics, including zero-result queries, CTR, engagement, and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate with content, UX/UI, SEO, and digital product teams to align search behavior with content strategy and experience goals.
- Support integration and platform stability in coordination with IT, architecture, and development teams.
- Participate in UAT, regression testing, and release validation for search enhancements and platform updates.
- Maintain documentation, operational standards, and configuration guidelines for search governance.
- Support incident triage and service desk workflows for search-related issues and enhancements.
- Assist in backlog refinement, requirement gathering, and translation of needs into user stories and configuration specifications.
- Conduct post-release validation, performance review, and ongoing optimization based on search analytics insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Technologies, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–7 years of total experience with 2–3 years in enterprise search, discovery, or personalization platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Coveo Search platform, including analytics and merchandising features (strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of search relevance, taxonomy, metadata, and digital merchandising principles.
- Experience working in global, matrixed, cross-functional environments.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate search data into actionable optimization strategies.
- Experience supporting structured content, indexing, and platform configuration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, experimentation, and analytics-driven optimization is a plus.
- Experience in complex B2B or technical product environments is highly desirable.
