WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Maintenance Manager provides overall leadership and direction for the Facilities Maintenance team across the Summit Point campus. This role is responsible for ensuring that buildings, infrastructure, grounds, equipment, and critical systems remain safe, compliant, and operationally ready. Reporting to the Director of Facility Management, the Maintenance Manager oversees workforce planning, work order prioritization, preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, capital improvement projects, and regulatory compliance efforts while serving as the day-to-day operational leader of the maintenance function. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is comfortable supervising teams while actively supporting hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in the field.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and supervising the Facilities Maintenance team
- Assigning and prioritizing daily maintenance work orders
- Performing and supporting hands-on maintenance and repair activities
- Overseeing preventative maintenance programs and facility inspections
- Supporting event setup, operational readiness, and emergency response efforts
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, OSHA requirements, and company procedures
- Coordinating with vendors and contractors on repairs and improvement projects
- Monitoring maintenance quality, timelines, and team performance
- Assisting with staffing, training, coaching, and team development
- Maintaining maintenance records, inventory awareness, and operational reporting
- Comfortable using computers for email communication, work order processing, reporting, and day-to-day operational tasks

WORK CONDITIONS
- Full-time, exempt leadership role balancing operational oversight with hands-on maintenance support.
- On-site position requiring regular campus presence and active participation in troubleshooting, repairs, and operational readiness efforts.
- Work is performed in dynamic indoor and outdoor environments across a 786-acre motorsports and training campus.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, loud noise levels, dust, dirt, fuels, moving vehicles, and mechanical equipment is expected.
- Occasional after-hours communication or responsiveness may be required for operational issues, emergencies, weather events, or event support.
- Early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, or limited on-call support may occasionally be necessary based on operational demands.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- 5–7 years of maintenance or facilities experience
- 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred:
- Trade license or technical certifications
- Experience in industrial, motorsports, government, or large campus environments
- Budget or project management experience
Physical Requirements:
This is an active, hands-on position requiring the ability to safely perform a wide range of maintenance duties across a large campus environment. Regular physical activity includes walking long distances across uneven terrain, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment or materials. The role may require working at heights, operating tools and maintenance equipment, and safely lifting and moving up to 100 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
