We are currently searching for a Software Developer. The Software Developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business applications along with automated workflows and database functionality that supports organizational processes, and stakeholder data entry and reporting.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

1. Designs, develops and maintains business applications and digital forms using Microsoft Power Apps to support stakeholder input and operational processes.

1. Develops and maintains automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate, including notifications, approvals, task routing, data validation and data movement, to reduce manual work and improve process efficiency.

1. Develops and maintains SQL database functionality, including tables, views, queries and stored procedures, to securely store application data and support reporting and analysis.

1. Collaborates with Software Developer II, business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements, understand current processes and translate business needs into reliable, user-friendly applications and automated solutions.

1. Integrates applications and workflows with SQL Server and other approved systems, services, connectors and application programming interfaces.

1. Performs functional, unit, integration and user acceptance testing of applications, workflows, database changes, interfaces and system integrations; identifies and resolves defects prior to implementation.

1. Supports implementation, deployment, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of applications and automated processes.

1. Documents application logic, workflows, database structures, testing results, deployments and support procedures. Provides accurate status updates regarding development activities, risks and issues.

1. Helps Software Developer II, provide individual and group instruction, training, user guidance and ongoing support as needed. Learns and applies new technologies and development methods appropriately and effectively.
   
2. Performs additional duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 3+ years of related experience in application development, database development, workflow automation or a related area
• Working knowledge and familiarity with at least two of the following program languages:
  • SQL/T-SQL (SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Power Fx
  • C#
  • ASP.NET
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, is required. Technical skills required Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL Server, relational database concepts, application and form design, data validation, testing, troubleshooting and technical documentation. Familiarity with Visual Studio, APIs, connectors and system integrations is preferred.
