This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Analyst based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to turn customer, product, and sales data into clear insights that shape business decisions. You’ll partner closely with analytics leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to understand complex business questions and translate them into actionable analysis. The role combines hands-on data work with strategic storytelling for senior audiences. You’ll analyze customer engagement, product adoption, account performance, retention, and revenue trends. You’ll also build dashboards, reporting frameworks, and recurring analyses using modern data and BI tools. The environment is collaborative, data-driven, and focused on using analytics to improve customer and commercial outcomes.
Partner with analytics leadership to translate business priorities and questions into structured, decision-ready analysis.
Analyze customer engagement, product adoption, account performance, retention, and revenue trends to identify actionable insights.
Own monthly and quarterly reporting for core sales metrics, including cross-sell, upsell, churn, and customer performance.
Extract, transform, and analyze data from Snowflake and other cloud data sources for recurring reporting and ad hoc business requests.
Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using modern business intelligence tools, turning complex datasets into accessible and actionable views.
Support presentations for senior leadership by developing clear narratives around sales, customer, and product performance trends.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to deepen understanding of customer behavior and engagement drivers.
Apply standardized data definitions and governance practices to improve consistency, accuracy, and confidence in reporting.
Maintain strong quality and process standards while managing multiple analytical priorities and deadlines.
4–7 years of experience in sales analytics, revenue analytics, customer analytics, or a closely related field, with direct exposure to customer engagement and account-level data.
Demonstrated experience analyzing customer success metrics, product usage, engagement trends, and commercial performance to inform business decisions.
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse.
Proven ability to build reports and dashboards using BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, including calculations, visualizations, and data models.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to frame business questions as hypotheses and validate them through data.
Ability to translate technical findings and complex datasets into concise, compelling stories for non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Analytics teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to data quality and reliable processes.
Working knowledge of data governance principles, policies, and standards.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
Exposure to modern data-stack technologies such as dbt is an advantage.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
