Part Time Poolside Bartender - The Springs Resort & Spa in Pagosa springs, Colorado at Wellspring Hospitality LLC

Set along the San Juan River, The Springs Resort & Spa is home to the world's deepest geothermal hot spring and a collection of mineral-rich soaking pools. Guests come here to slow down, recharge, and take in the mountain views, and our team makes that experience feel effortless.

As a Poolside Bartender, you'll serve drinks and light fare to guests enjoying the hot springs. You'll create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere while keeping service safe and responsible. You're the friendly face guests remember from their soak, so personality and attentiveness matter as much as your pour.

• Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe and portion standards
• Greet and check on guests throughout the pool areas, taking orders and delivering drinks promptly
• Verify ID for every alcohol sale and monitor guest consumption per Colorado liquor laws and resort policy, with extra awareness of heat and hydration in a hot springs setting
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance your drawer at end of shift
• Set up, stock, and break down the bar; maintain par levels and report inventory needs
• Keep the bar and service areas clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
• Follow glass-free and pool-safety policies around the soaking areas
• Work closely with F&B, Pool/Grounds, and Front Desk teams to support a smooth guest experience
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to a supervisor when needed

Required:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Available to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods, including on wet and uneven surfaces
• Able to lift and carry up to [50] lbs (ice, cases, kegs)
• Able to work outdoors in varying mountain weather and in warm, humid pool environments
• Able to accurately handle cash and card transactions
• Must obtain Colorado Responsible Vendor or TIPS certification within [30] days of hire if not already certified

Preferred:

• 1+ year of bartending or beverage service experience
• Resort, pool, or high-volume bar experience
• Current Colorado Responsible Vendor or TIPS certification
• Working knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine
• Experience with POS systems
