Traveling Telecommunications Technician in Chicago, Illinois at Staar Corp

The Traveling Telecommunications Technician supports STAAR Corp projects across multiple markets and scopes of work. This position is currently focused primarily on MDU/MTU telecommunications installations but may also assist with fiber, coax, FTTH, drops, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and other field operations based on project needs and technician qualifications. Regular travel is required.

Valid driver’s license, ability and willingness to travel, basic telecommunications or construction experience, ability to safely use ladders and field tools, and willingness to work flexible schedules. Must follow STAAR Corp safety procedures, customer requirements, and assigned project standards.
