Who We Are

ROHL Global Networks Inc. is a Western Canada-based infrastructure company with operations across North America, specializing in telecommunications, utility construction, solar energy, and power infrastructure — serving enterprise, government, and wholesale clients.

We are hiring full-time Labourers to support crews on a newly awarded multi-year contract, offering stable year-round work and career growth in utility and telecommunications construction.

The Role

Reporting to the Crew Supervisor, the Labourer supports construction activities across all phases of ROHL projects. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring a strong work ethic, safety focus, and the ability to perform in a fast-moving crew environment.

Our Labourers’ core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Site Support & Material Handling

  • Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials safely throughout the worksite.
  • Assist operators with spotting and signaling for safe equipment movement.
  • Perform grading and site preparation tasks, including shoveling, raking, leveling, and clearing terrain.
  • Operate small equipment and tools such as tampers, pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and skid steers (where qualified).
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Traffic Control & Worksite Operations

  • Set up, adjust, and remove traffic control devices per approved plans.
  • Direct traffic safely when required to protect crew members, the public, and equipment operations.
  • Support crews during mobilization, demobilization, and daily site setup activities.
  • Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices at all times.
  • Participate in daily tailboard meetings, safety briefings, and site inspections.
  • Support supervisors and the Safety Department in maintaining a compliant work environment.
  • Teamwork & Professional Conduct

  • Work safely, reliably, and productively as part of a crew environment.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and arrive ready for physical outdoor work.
  • Act with respect, professionalism, and accountability toward coworkers, clients, and the public.
  • Take direction well and contribute positively to overall crew performance.

  • What you Bring

  • Previous experience in construction, utility, telecommunications, or civil infrastructure environments is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment (experience with skid steers or similar equipment is an asset).
  • Strong awareness of workplace safety and ability to follow safe work procedures at all times.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work as part of a crew and follow direction from supervisors and equipment operators.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to punctuality and attendance.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and travel when required by project needs.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment in accordance with job demands.
  • What We Offer

    • Competitive wages based on experience, skill level, and performance
    • Full benefits coverage including extended health, dental, and vision for you and your family
    • Company-matched Group RSP / TFSA program to help you plan for the future
    • Year-round, stable work with long-term project opportunities
    • Training and development to help you build skills and grow your career within ROHL

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. May require overtime or working evenings or weekends. Occasional travel may be required.
