Auto Estimate & Repair Verification Advisor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Auto Estimate & Repair Verification Advisor based in Canada.

This is a fully remote automotive claims and repair quality role focused on ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across vehicle damage assessments and repair estimates. You will play a critical role in reviewing complex repair files, validating estimating practices, and supporting high-quality claim outcomes. Working closely with repair facilities, vendors, and internal claims teams, you will provide expert analysis and recommendations that help maintain industry standards and operational excellence. The position combines technical automotive expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment. You will contribute to process improvements, support dispute resolution, and help drive consistency across repair evaluations. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about vehicle repair quality, claims accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:
  • Conduct detailed virtual reviews of repair estimates, total loss assessments, and assigned claim files to ensure compliance with estimating standards and repair best practices.
  • Analyze complex vehicle damage estimates and provide accurate recommendations, corrections, and supporting documentation where necessary.
  • Perform audit reviews and maintain detailed records to support consistency in repair evaluation and claims handling processes.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated inquiries, disputes, complaints, and repair-related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support total loss evaluations by reviewing valuation methodologies, repair estimates, and required documentation.
  • Develop, monitor, and improve operational processes while maintaining strong relationships with repair facilities, vendors, and business partners.
  • Participate in calibration sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on estimating practices and quality standards.
  • Identify trends, communicate audit findings, and recommend process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and claim outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in automotive claims estimating, vehicle repair processes, and damage analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating guidelines, repair methodologies, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions in complex or ambiguous situations.
  • Experience reviewing estimates, total loss files, and repair documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage escalated customer concerns, disputes, and challenging situations professionally.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with vendors, repair facilities, appraisers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with company procedures, estimating standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills in a remote work environment.
  • Proficiency with claims management systems, estimating platforms, and digital collaboration tools.
