Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Production & Tools Manager based in United States.
This role sits at the center of high-volume, time-sensitive outbound communications, ensuring that global campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels are delivered with precision, speed, and full compliance. You will oversee the end-to-end production workflow, from intake and prioritization to build, QA, and launch, supporting campaigns that reach millions of users worldwide. The position blends hands-on campaign production with operational leadership, requiring both technical fluency and strong process ownership. You will manage a small production team while acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders and execution teams. This is a fast-moving environment where priorities shift quickly, and success depends on structured thinking, strong communication, and the ability to maintain quality under pressure. You will also serve as the subject matter expert for marketing tools and automation systems, helping optimize workflows and enforce best practices.
- Own the full production lifecycle for outbound campaigns, including intake, prioritization, build, QA, and deployment across email, SMS, push, in-app, and landing pages.
- Lead daily production coordination, assigning work and aligning priorities for a small team of production specialists.
- Translate stakeholder requests into clear, actionable production briefs while managing expectations and timelines.
- Build and execute campaigns using marketing automation tools, including audience segmentation, journey setup, and QA validation.
- Apply strict quality control standards across targeting logic, content accuracy, rendering, and suppression rules.
- Ensure full compliance with privacy and communication regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, opt-in/opt-out requirements) prior to launch.
- Manage production capacity and forecasting to prevent bottlenecks and maintain efficient workflow delivery.
- Own and optimize marketing automation tools, templates, documentation, and best practices across the organization.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign production, or digital communications in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua); entry-level tools alone are not sufficient.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to read, edit, and troubleshoot queries for audience and campaign logic.
- Strong understanding of email and messaging compliance frameworks such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
- Proven experience managing multi-channel, multi-step campaign journeys and automation workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and influence without direct authority.
- Experience balancing urgency and quality in environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Based in the United States and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative production setting.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $75 to $90 per hour (W2)
- Fully remote US-based contract role with potential for long-term extension
- Opportunity to work on high-scale global campaigns reaching millions of users
- Exposure to advanced marketing automation platforms and production systems
- Leadership responsibility over production workflows and a small team
- Fast-paced environment with high ownership and operational impact
- Experience working across global stakeholders and multi-channel communication systems.
