Who You AreThe ideal Sales Manager is a relationship-driven, results-oriented professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for customer success. You are a skilled communicator who understands both the technical and commercial aspects of the business and can effectively collaborate across teams to deliver value to customers.
What You’ll DoAs a Sales Manager, you will manage and coordinate internal and external activities related to the sales and marketing of flour products. You will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams while driving growth, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting overall business objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer relationships, including pricing, contract negotiation, and account development
- Prospecting and developing new business opportunities to grow the customer base
- Maintaining sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring market trends, supply and demand, and competitive activity
- Building strong, long-term partnerships with customers by understanding their needs and objectives
- Traveling to customer sites and industry events to support relationships and promote products
- Supporting the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve targets and drive growth
- Collaborating cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and co-product sales teams
- Acting as a liaison between sales and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and operational alignment
- Preparing and maintaining sales reports, customer data, and performance metrics
- Supporting transportation and service coordination as needed
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of sales and customer service experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Understanding of manufacturing, milling, or related industries preferred
- Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
