Job Summary:
Inventory management technicians also known as attendants, Storeroom helpers, clerks, material handlers, material management specialists, assistants, play a critical role in keeping clinical operations running smoothly,
They are responsible for performing supply chain activities including but not limited to distribution, central distribution, storeroom and receiving functions within the facility at the direction of Supply Chain leadership,
Performs receiving functions, PAR stocking and replenishment and storeroom activities using hospital issued Handheld Device,
Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent,

Experience Preferred: Hospital supply chain experience preferred,
Job Responsibilities (list 8-12):
1,
Receive incoming shipments and verify items against packing slip,
2,
Independently complete receiving process using supply chain technology,
3,
Stocks PAR departments in a timely manner and use handheld devices to scan items for replenishment
4,
Ensure bins and shelf locations are clean and have accurate barcode labels
5,
Uses the First In First Out (FIFO) method of stocking to ensure product rotated to avoid having expired products in stocking area Track inventory levels and restock supply rooms, carts, and stations,
6,
Use current Supply Chain technology to replenish supplies,
7,
All expired/net 30 days products must be removed from the supply room,
8,
Verifies accurately of all incoming deliveries and recon all packages/deliveries,
9,
Documents all purchase order and non-purchase order receipts via handheld technology
10,
Tracks all tissue from the dock to the department and documents required information upon arrival
11,
Delivers all packages in timely manner and overnight packages within 2 hours of receipt
12,
Able to independently complete receiving process using a handheld device, including Recon, receiving, and delivery,
13,
Demonstrates prioritization of Overnight, regulated (Tissue), and Perishable (pharmacy/lab) packages per Supply Chain Receiving guidelines,
14,
Knowledgeable with tissue tracking (UDI) procedure and how to properly track and hand off to customers,
15,
Follow infection control, safety, and hospital procedures,
16,
Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with regulations,
17,
Perform other duties as assigned,
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (list no more than 12):

Working knowledge of stock management and operations,

Ability to use latest technology to perform job responsibilities,

Professional communication, written and verbal, in dealing with all levels of staff and management,

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds,
