Concrete Mixer Driver in Tampa, Florida at DGI - Menard INC

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Performing pre and post trip cement truck inspection every day before departure and after returning to the plant. 
• Ensuring the truck is in good working order and keepingrecordof the inspections. 
• Maintaininga triplog bookrequired by the DOT. 
• Climbing into and out of the mixer truck and up and down the ladder. 
• Driving to and from the job worksite. 
• Production activities that include climbing up and down the ladder, such adding and mixing concrete materials or chemicals with water to the batch If additions are needed. 
• Loading at theplant andunloading materials from mixer truck at the jobsite.  
• Maintaining records of grout delivered.  
• Cleaning equipment and work areasafter atthe direction of the field superintendent. 
• End of day truckwashout at the plant. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Understanding ofdiesel,hydraulicsand electrical related applications. 
• Mechanically inclined with greatproblem-solvingskills. 
• Ability to work well in a fast paced and stressful environment. 

Education and Experience Requirements

3+ years of CDL driving experience required.

Certifications, Licenses, Etc.

Required: Valid CDL Class B or Higher
