Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PC in Bruce, Mississippi at Bruce Community Living Center

Burce CLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Nurse to join our team!

This role plays an important part in promoting resident safety, dignity, independence, and overall quality of life while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Bruce policies and procedures.

Details:

• 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' health status and promptly report changes to the physician and Director of Nursing.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants.
• Participate in resident assessments and care plan development.
• Respond to resident and family concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain the confidentiality of resident information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current and active LPN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or personal care preferred.
